About Me.
I'm a graphic designer specialist based here in Holyhead, Anglesey! I'm 20 years old with a creative passion and dreams bigger than herself. I've always loved doing design and illustration but more design as I found it more rewarding being able to help and support small businesses in Anglesey. I love being able to go out and say 'I made that!' for someone just finding there way in the world, I love being able see business using their branding and logo and making it feel like them.
My Background and Experience
I started doing design long back in college and that was about 5 years ago! I started helping my dad doing menus and social media posts( I still do) . I was working in Morrisons at the time when I spotted a marketing apprenticeship in Mon CF and noticed design elements I could be good at so I applied and gave it go. I was very lucky to be successful for the apprenticeship.

In this time I studied Level 3 social media and Digital Marketing and I loved it. I found marketing was subject I found quite natural to understand and when it came to branding section of my work, it really shown through that this was something I was good at due to my art and creative background.

I started to pick up a few logo designs here and there when my college work got too stressful and I needed a mental break and creative outlet in the many essays I needed to write by the end of year. When December rolled around, I had good news that I was being kept on! When I tell you I RAN home after work to tell my family I was being kept on as Trainee Marketing and Engagement Officer alongside the marketing team.

Since Jan, with no more college work I was able to focus more on my Logo and Branding support for local businesses. My caseload grew very quick but I loved every single business I worked with and developing the process and making sure I offered the best support I could. It was and still is incredibly rewarding to see how happy businesses get when they see the finals.

But, I've decided to go on my own and expand my portfolio even more. I'm grateful the opportunity to work beside a fantastic Marketing Team in Mon CF who taught me all my skills I use now. So shout out to them!

Why do I do it?
My nana grandad Owen are the reason I continue to peruse design. I've been very passionate about art since I was young and they've always encouraged to fulfil my passions of having a creative career.
My first ever commission I ever did was for them at 6 years old. You can see it below.

But I want to make sure these wonderful people have a place in my business. They are my logo too and watermark. The hands holding together are picture I took at 14 for their vow renewal after being married for 50 years now. Its been my favourite ever since so I understand how precious a photograph can be.
The forget me not flowers are my Nana Owen favourite flowers and the blue tones are a big part of my branding and I even have them tattooed!
14 years between the two
My grandparents have this drawing up for that long and said when I completed the first one at their dinner table in the kitchen “one day you’ll be famous for it and we’ll be the only ones with a original from the start, because we believe in you” and they’ve never stopped believing in me even when no else did and always encouraged me to peruse my creative career

They will always be the first to see any artwork I have and they are always my biggest supporters in everything I do. I couldn’t of done it without them.
